PERINOS' STUDIO

Credit goes to glass guru Tom Philabaum for Perinos’ Studio creation.
Responding to a call for art Philabaum Studio was awarded a commission to design and install a signature work of art for the center of the Tucson International Airport terminal in 2008.
 
As Public Relations Director for Tucson Airport Authority, Paula had oversight for the public art program.  David as asked by Philabaum Studio to collaborate with him, the aiport staff and enginners to install “Another Way to Fly”. A series of “flying carpets” suspended from the Center Point of the terminal.
 
The result: a spectacular sculpture, an enduring marriage, and the birth of Perinos’ Studio.
